Clostnature 3 Season 1 Person Tent - Budget-Friendly Lightweight Tent For Backpacking And Camping

I’m always on the lookout for outdoor gear that will make my time out on the trails easier and more enjoyable. So when I had a chance to try the Clostnature 3-season 1-person tent on Amazon and I put it to the test on a 3-day 45-mile section hike and I couldn't be more pleased. Not only is it lightweight, but the setup is also quick and easy.

I wasn't expecting so many features mostly found in higher-priced gear, for the price. Like the rainfly buckles attaching the fly to the tent, adjustable guy lines that are effortless to use, the flexible props on the 2 upper air vents, and the tent weighing 3.5 lbs (lighter if you don't use the compression sack it comes with) to name a few.

The tent has one D-shaped door, the tent's upper interior is a mesh material, and the polyester bathtub and rainfly are firmer than I expected. The higher profile bathtub and the rainfly are quite rugged and waterproof.

I had to keep the rainfly on since we woke up to dense fog and mist each morning on the trail. But I didn't feel trapped or stuffy. There was plenty of air circulation from the 3 air vents; 2 at the top and one on the lower back. And hardly any condensation or wet spots within the tent. Looking forward to using it on clear nights to star gaze on warm summer nights.

Both zippers, one on the tent itself and the other on the rainfly, ran smooth and didn't snag when opening or closing, making it painless to get in and out of the tent for a middle-of-night potty break.

And the 4 corner pockets and the detachable mesh pocket are fantastic. I don't have to fumble around trying to find my glasses or headlamp in the middle of the night, no matter which direction my head faces.

There is one feature I wish was better, the rainfly door tie-backs could be longer, making them easier to grasp when folding back the doorway. As well as the four additional rainfly tie-downs.

Wrapping Up

This 3-season 1 person tent is incredible. Not only does it come with features found in higher-priced tents, but it's also easy to assemble, under 4 lbs, and great for novice backpackers/campers on a budget.

I wholeheartedly recommend this 1-person tent for anyone budget-conscious or just beginning their backpacking/camping adventures.

Catch y'all next time, and as always, let's take all the side roads together and enjoy the views along the way.
